Travel Diaries: A Spontaneous Trip to Noosa
The season Spring is either to love and to hate. I could enumerate all the reasons we love Spring but honestly, you can't hate the fact that it triggers allergies and hayfever. Dj & I have been having nasal allergies like crazy these past few days so we've finally decided to get some salt water therapy. I suggested we go to a beach that has white sand and cyrstal clear waters with less or no waves at all. I've asked around and researched like a madman and the winner was Noosa Heads main beach.
We travelled for an hour and 40 minutes (from Brisbane) and when we got there, parking was a bit of a challenge (however, we got lucky). The beach was crowded since Australians have a knack for basking under the sun. Regardless of all of that, Noosa main beach was still beautiful in it's own way. We got to enjoy the beautiful weather whilst having our sea water therapy. I have to say though, I was scared to try bodyboarding which I regret again, for the second time. Ha!
So enough of my rambling. Here are some photos we took yesterday (I'll just post it here cause I'll just get reprimanded or judged on fb if I post it there. Ha!):
Us just minutes after settling in the sand and getting ready to get our tan on.
More pictures of me taken by Dj cause according to him, "you're my favorite subject". LOL
Dj post enjoying the waves and posing like Zac Efron in Baywatch?! HAHAHAHA!
Here is a final glimpse and photo of the beach after an hour of swimming and enjoying the sun.
*Sorry for the crappy photo guys. Still getting used to taking photos of everything and not getting awks or embarrased.*
Meanwhile... time for a feed!
We walked along the stretch of food places and finally found an awesome burger place, Zac's Great Burger Bar.
Alright! Time for a feed. Til' next time guys!!!
Love,
